Those surveyed were split on whether the ceasefire agreement will hold, with 45% believing that it will hold and 44% believing that it will not. However, most people surveyed seemed to agree that the recent violence in the area was tragic, with 73% saying that it caused too much death.
This poll is a sign that, despite the recent conflict between Israel and Hamas, American voters still largely favor the Israeli government and its policy of defending its people.
