Sadly, numerous families have met with tragedy while attempting to navigate the dangerous path across international borders. However, some families have found a way to outwit the draconian approach of those governments by weaving their way through long grass and fields to dodge the relentless migration checkpoints.
For many families, a journey undertaken with the intention to reach a safe destination allows no time for hesitation. This is further compounded by the fact that the migrant crisis has created an exceptionally hostile environment for refugees, and the governments of those nations want their citizens to remain present and accounted for. In such circumstances, families desperate to escape certain persecution have culminated on their ingenuity to bypass these checkpoints. One such example is of a family from Honduras who, after making the arduous journey from their home, marched through the long grasses in Central America. While the family had no idea where they were going, this alternative plan was successful and allowed them to pass through undetected.
