The city of Tel Aviv, Israel is in shock after the horrific news that the body of missing woman Shannon Gabay was recently recovered. Mayor Ron Huldai issued a statement confirming that the badly decomposed body was found and has been identified as that of the missing woman. The statement expressed deep sorrow and expressed the Mayor and city’s support for the family and friends of Shannon Gabay.
Shani Gabay had been missing since December 13th when she left her home in Tel Aviv. She was last seen riding her bike around the city. Many searches for her were conducted around Tel Aviv, and social media campaigns were launched in an effort to spread the word about her disappearance.
